Urklang is the solo project of Austrian artist Fabian Kerschbaum – music producer, music coach, live-artist, DJ, mixing & mastering engineer, and art therapist.
His musical vision blends deep psychedelic, storytelling-driven soundscapes with a swampy, tribaland hypnotic vibe, covering styles from PsyDub and Downtempo, to the realms of BushProg, DarkProg and Zenonesque, all the way up to ForestProg and Forest.
With debut releases on renowned labels like Zenon Records, Universal Tribe Records, MerkabaMusic and Sentimony Records, Urklang has quickly gained attention in the global psychedelicscene. His debut PsyDub/Downtempo album “Cosmic Heart” was released in March 2024 on Merkaba Music, one of the world’s leading labels in the genre. His music has also been featured onother renowned labels including Padang Records, Another Psyde Records, Neurotrance and more.
He has performed at some of the world’s most renowned festivals including Fusion Festival and Masters of Puppets (multiple editions), Fraktal Forest Festival, Tribal Gathering Slovakia, 3DNA, and more as well as numerous clubs and underground events across Europe –such as Psytrance Vienna, Nocturna Berlin, Lustige Loften (Sweden), Psymenten (Norway) and more.
Rooted in the idea of the Urklang – the primordial sound, the cosmic "Ohm", the vibration that connects all beings – his musical mission goes beyond entertainment. It’s about unity, connection, transformation and sonic healing.
In addition to his artistic work, Fabian is the founder of the Urklang Academy– a holistic coaching and mentorship platform for aspiring electronic music producers.
